Fashion is a popular style or method, especially in clothing, accessories makeup, or furniture. Fashion is an extraordinary and often established trend in the style in which a person dresses. It is the predominant mode in behaviour and the newest creations of textile designers.
Because the more technical term costume is regularly linked to the term “fashion”, the use of the former has been relegated to special senses like fancy dress or masquerade wear, while “fashion” generally means clothing, including the study of it.
This word does not just specify all the latest or the most popular or the most famous clothes. In reality, this social event involves more importance. In some way, fashion enables us to show who we are and portray our personality in the terms of visual information. In the way we choosing clothes we show our attitude to the world and other people. It is also some kind of communication. We put some of our characters at everything, how we behave in several situations, what we eat and which style of clothing we choose at shops. All the parts of it build the main reason stream of fashion. But despite our personality, every person in the world have something in common. Even if it’s the smallest thing. All over the world, there are a lot of people who have the same tastes, who choose the same food and tweeds of the same kind. There are a lot of aspects that build the fashion of today.
5 Types of Fashion Styles
1. Bohemian: Also known as “boho” or “boho chic,” bohemian style borrows from the 1960’s hippie aesthetic and festival culture. The style includes earth tones, raw fabrics and tints, and prints and accessories from around the world. The hallmarks of boho style are spiralling maxi dresses, long skirts, bell-bottom pants, large brim with hats, band, sued, and slouch purses.
2.Chic– One of the common types of fashion styles is the chic style. “Chic” is often synonymous with “trendy” or “fashionable”. People who favour this style prefer classic and modern designs that are stunning and smart. For example, the garments are always well-tailored and the accessories are well chosen. Chic style means having clothes that have strong colours but are not flashy.
3.Traditional– Traditional fashion style shows the whole and sensible “girl next door”. These people’ traits are practical, polite and always dress suitably. Their styles are classic since most of the apparel are time-honoured favourites. A girl with this style often wears a plaid flannel shirt or pea coat. She also prefers the classic black dress as long as it suits the occasion.
4. Preppy– Preppy style is very popular among college students. This style is often girly but not too frilly. The clothes are great to mix and match. Most of the time, the style may appear luxurious but actually, people with this style do not drop a ton of cash to have the look. The apparel often includes opaque tights, A-line, girly blouses and headbands, etc.
5.Rocker– Relying on the genre or the crowd, rocker-style may differ from ultimate glam to grunge. Thrift stores are the ultimate source of rock styles. Clothes are inexpensive and look like they were worn in for several months. Rockers do not wear baggy clothes and they opt for smaller sizes. Rocker style is not complete without ripped denim, vintage tees and leather jacket.
